Early Life: Kane Williamson was born on 8 August 1990 in Tauranga, New Zealand.
He played cricket at the senior level at the age of 14 and made his debut in first-class cricket at 16.
Kane attended Tauranga Boys’ College to complete his education.
He made his debut in New Zealand domestic cricket playing for Northern Districts in 2007 at the age of only 17 years.

His failure continued in his second match when he was bowled by Angelo Mathews for a second ball duck.
Kane had to wait for his maiden ODI century he scored his maiden ODI century against Bangladesh on 14 October 2010 in Dhaka.

Due to his good performance on that Bangladesh tour where New Zealand performed badly and suffered a 4–0 whitewash he was selected in the New Zealand Test squad for the tour of India.
He didn’t miss this opportunity to score runs and on his test debut in his first innings he scored 131 runs off 299 balls and became the eighth New Zealand player to score a century on Test match debut.
In 2015 he was bought by Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018 when David warner was banned from playing the IPL he was elevated to the captaincy of the franchise.
In 2018 SRH reached the final of the IPL under Kane captaincy but eventually lost to CSK in the Finals.
